In a short time it has become known as one of the best and most consistent companies in the contemporary Soul/Blues and Gospel fields. Its first release was Ollie Nightingale's "I'll Drink Your Bath Water, Baby", which debuted in February of 1995. From there, Ecko quickly began to build a roster of first rate southern soul, blues, and gospel performers. Its list of artists currently includes Denise LaSalle, Carl Sims, Lee "Shot" Williams, Sheba Potts-Wright, Donnie Ray, The Echoaires, O. B. Buchana, Barbara Carr, George Dean & G4, The Eternal Light Singers, and Ms. Jody. Ecko is dedicated to continually releasing the best of contemporary blues, soul and gospel.
